The owners of this property were weary of their home’s dull and drab appearance and want some fresh trendy colours. Using our colour consultancy service, the owners were provided with three possible colour schemes. They ultimately decided on Dulux Manorburn with an accent colour of Dulux Castlecliff after much consideration.
One of the benefits of hiring the house painters is that we have a big supply of access equipment that we were able to employ on this project. The house painters prepped the surfaces after the house wash by filling holes and siliconing gaps as needed.
Because of the age of the house and the current colour, the house painters applied one complete coat of primer sealer undercoat to all the weatherboard. This improved the adherence of the weatherboards and prepared the dark surface for a lighter colour. After we finished all of the prepping and priming, we painted two topcoats of Dulux Weathershield X10.
As you can see from the photos and videos below, this property has been updated with carefully chosen colours and great workmanship, and the homeowners are overjoyed.
- Housewash all exterior surfaces ready for painting.
- Apply Galvaised Iron Primer to all bare metal.
- Apply 1 full coat of primer to all weatherboardsto ensure good adhesion for topcoats.
- Apply 2 Full Top Coats in colour of choice.
