The paint on the weatherboards on this home was peeling, bubbling and flaking off. This is a sign that the original coating is failing. To paint over this with a couple of coats of paint will look good…for a little while…
The only solution for this was to strip the weatherboard back to bare wood, prime and then topcoat.
